Doyle Drive is closed this week-end from April 27-30, 8pm Friday to 5am Monday.
- Golden Gate Bridge to Hwy 1 will remain open, however, expect major delays
- No access to Hwy 101 from Marina Blvd./Richardson Ave.
- The public is encouraged to use buses, ferries, alternate routes or choose car-free activities
- Drivers should avoid the closure area

Vehicles: Northbound traffic should use I-80/San Francisco - Oakland Bay Bridge to I-580. Southbound traffic should I-580 to I-80 to I-280 towards the San Francisco Peninsula. Highway 1/Park Presidio Boulevard to and from the Golden Gate Bridge will remain open, however, motorists are asked to avoid this route as it will be heavily congested, or expect major delays!

Why Replace Doyle Drive?
The existing south access road to the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, known as Doyle Drive or Route 101, is structurally and seismically deficient and must be replaced. Originally built in 1936, Doyle Drive has reached the end of its useful life.
