I am a travel whisperer

I am the mom of two wonderful daughters who are 11 and 8. I was born in France and moved to the US 11 years ago. English is my second language and I apologize in advance for the grammatical errors you will find in my writings (and thank Word for the grammar and spelling checks!).

As the result of having my family in France, I have been traveling every year for the last 10 years to visit them during the summer. My children each took their first plane ride at 3 months old and my husband and I first traveled with both children to Australia when they were 4 months for the youngest and almost 4 years for the oldest. We had a fantastic time in Australia even though some ‘friends’ predicted a vacation with such young kids so far away would be a disaster.

Since then, we never stopped and they always come with us wherever we go. We discover that as they grow the trips we take all over France and Europe are one of the ways to bring our family together. With the right amount of preparation, and whatever the children ages, any trip will go smoothly (or almost smoothly as I do not believe in a drama free trip! Especially with two girls!!!)
